Meet the breeder

I'm Erica S., the breeder behind Acires Ibizan Hounds located in Georgia. I want to provide companions who have the mind and body to excel at a variety of sports, with an emphasis on Lure Coursing and racing. I also hunt with my dogs to evaluate original purpose. I am available not just for my puppies, but also my puppy homes. I love for my homes to become family.

Q. & A. with Erica

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into Ibizans in 2011 & fell in love with the breed and competitive sports. Starting in 2013, I assisted a close friend of mine with raising her litters and was highly involved in many litters. I found that I loved every aspect of it, from the planning to offering support to homes and seeing my “nieces & nephews” excel.
  • What makes your program special?

Although I only bred my first litter in 2022, I have over a decade experience with the generations of pedigrees behind them. My primary interest is definitely in Lure Coursing, racing and other performance sports, as well as hunting. I occasionally show conformation. Temperament is essential to me; they have to get along.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
