I'm Jacqueline W., the breeder behind Adornare Kennels located in Jacksonville, AL. We offer home-raised puppies from Champion parents who can be shown, do AKC events or just be wonderful family members. We do health testing on all of our dogs to ensure healthy and happy dogs. We fell in love with the breed because of their intelligence, loyalty and velcro personality.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother bred poodles when I was a child. Fast forward to the 90s and my son was a junior handler showing whippets and bulldogs. I adore whippets but wanted smaller dogs to travel with so I started showing Italian greyhounds. My husband is a Star Wars fan and had to have his dream dog; a brussel griffon. We fell in love with both breeds and added them to our family and our AKC show schedule.What makes your program special?
We DNA our dogs and do health testing through UC Davis. We strive for healthy puppies. Our dogs compete in various events. Trick Dog, Farm Dog, Canine Good Citizen, Rat Barn, Fast Cat and Conformation.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Brussels Griffon puppies include red, black and tan, and belge. Italian Greyhound puppies include red, black, white and fawn, white, fawn, cream, blue fawn, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"Goldie" is an agile, and elegant dam with a pale golden fawn coat color. She exhibits a perfect conformation with a petite head and refined features. Her pedigree features Gold Grand Champions on both sides providing our lines with remarkable quality. She is spry, lively, and affectionate. She loves to race around the yard and play with her puppies. Her ideal day is a gourmet meal followed with a long nap.

"InVy" Vendetta is a petite blue fawn dam with perfect ears and ear presentation. Her coat color panel includes the mask gene giving her offspring an intelligent and intense facial expression. Her pedigree includes long lines of champions and grand champions on both sides, increasing the probability of producing show winning pups. Invy has shown confirmation and received a major her second time in the ring and she is only shy a few points to finish her Championship. InVy loves to run in FastCAT events and was ranked 27th in the nation in 2023. She also loves indulging in Rat Barning. Her strong maternal instinct helps enforce her rule over the other dogs as she works to maintain order. She is playful, curious, and cuddly. Her ideal afternoon is snuggled up with us under a blanket.

About Echo
Echo is a gorgeous black and tan that's the most intelligent griffon we've ever worked with. She enjoys challenging herself and pleasing her owners. She has excelled at every AKC event she has entered and enjoys strutting her stuff. She is ideal breed standard on the petite side. Her head, layback and stop are perfection. She comes from a strong line of AKC champions and grand champions and is currently pointed. She is titled in Advanced Trick Dog, Advanced Canine Good Citizen, Farm Dog, and currently working on her Rat Barning title. She has passed all her health checks prior to breeding, and has no health issues to date.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Jacqueline and Dennis are the kindest, most accommodating people and I am so thankful to have gotten my sweetest special boy from such wonderful people. Jacqueline was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout this whole process. I might be bias but I really believe I have the most perfect sweet iggy, I just know he was born into the most love. I also used the puppy nanny, Dennis, and en route there was an issue where Dennis and my poor pookie were not allowed on the flight,(not their fault at all!) and I was devastated, but Dennis then drove all day to bring pookie to me. It was so incredibly kind and I was so appreciative of Dennis (thank you again!). I highly highly recommend Adornare Kennels, you will get the most perfect baby and they are absolutely wonderful to work with!

Jaqueline was terrific throughout the process of dog adoption. Highly responsive! I was unable to secure the dog I initially planned to adopt, but will look to her again when a new litter arrives. Recommend Adornare kennels for IGs! (p.s. I also recommend Good Dog as a very good site to work through for dog adoption.)

+8We had an amazing experience with Jacqueline and Dennis from Adornare! She was extremely responsive and timely on answering questions and sent tons of updates on the pups! We are so so happy we went with this breeder. We met Dennis at the airport to pick up Atlas and it was a very smooth process! Jacqueline also promptly sent all the papers (genetic testing results on both parents, lineage, AKC paperwork for puppy, etc.). They focus on breed preservation which we really appreciate. Atlas has very strong bones which is exactly what we were looking for in an IG. He got a perfect bill of health from our vet and he is the perfect addition to our family. We are so happy to have our little Atlas! We cannot thank them enough!

My experience with Jacqueline was phenomenal right from the start. Communication was excellent. She continues to answer all of my questions and assured me she will always be my resource. She sent me photos of my Henry every week and updates on what he was doing. Dennis was his flight nanny and meeting him at the airport was a lot of fun. Henry is a healthy, beautiful, confident puppy and it is evident how he was cared for and loved. They love their Iggys! I wouldn't change a thing about my whole experience.
