I'm Jessica A., the breeder behind Agapē Lagotto Romagnolo located in Centralia, WA. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.

Why did you start breeding?
Watching my friend help welp her lagotto romagnolo, and hearing the stories of people getting puppies that otherwise wouldn’t be able to because they were allergic (lagottos are hypoallergenic!) I also wanted to contribute to my household (I am a stay at home mom and homeschool our kids) and saw an opportunity to do that through breeding these beautiful dogs!What makes your program special?
From the day of whelping to the day you get your puppy it is a family affair! My husband and I and our 3 boys are invested and work well together to make sure that you are getting a well loved and socialized puppy that will be ready for you to continue the training to create an amazing lagotto romagnolo!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include off-white and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“Price includes guarantee AKC registration, health check, first puppy shots and deworming as well as being raised in a loving and sociable environment with kids and other dogs. $2,000 deposit to hold puppy. Balance of (2,000) then needs to be paid in full, 3 weeks before they go home.”

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

If you are looking for a Lagotto, Jessica at Agape is your breeder! We are in Michigan and had a puppy reserved from a breeder locally. Unfortunately we got some bad news from that breeder and were told that we no longer had a puppy coming. Our hearts were broken and we started the search again. Seeing that there were no other local breeders, we expanded the search across the Country. Our biggest concern was crate shipping the puppy. Graciously Jessica offered to flight nanny the puppy to us which made us so much more comfortable. Throughout the weeks of anticipating our new puppy, we received regular pictures and videos from Jessica. The overall journey that we had was exactly how it all was supposed to work out. Our puppy, Blue, is amazing and we are obsessed. We can’t thank Agape enough for making this such a wonderful experience and bringing this puppy into our lives.

Jessica and her whole family are so involved with their dogs and especially the puppies. This is our 4th Lagotto pup in approx 18 years and although our first breeder was wonderful, he was in AZ and having Agape so close just an hr plus drive, we were able to visit often and they were so kind and fun and full of knowledge. Their boys were on hand to help too and these are teenagers! Very polite and engaged. Best Breed and Best Breeder ever! Their pups are socialized and ready for you and your home. I guess I am a testament to the breed. We have had many breeds throughout the years from Scotties, Beagles, Malamutes, Wired Hair fox Terrier and some really great lovable Mutts. The Lagotto breed is special and what I have loved about them is they are very lovable, fairly smart, shedding of small puffs of undercoat plus they bond to the family veery quickly. Jessica was very responsive and knowledgeable about the breed and raising a puppy. She went extra mile in prepping our little puppy for our arrival and even got her an extra vet appointment just before our meeting to update all her vaccines. It is very clear that Jessica cares a lot about her dogs and where the puppies are going. Our Brownie is a very confident little pup, arrived already adjusted to household hustle.
