I'm Janis D., the breeder behind Airedales of Myriad Ranch located in Anderson, CA. We are currently breeding larger Airedales as well, and some of them look like they could compete in a conformation show. They carry all the awesome traits and qualities in a little larger package! Extremely athletic and all-around amazing dogs! We only raise Airedales!

Why did you start breeding?
We began breeding Airedales out of necessity – my husband and I have a 20 acre farm that borders a very rural area with a lot of big wildlife! We always rotated getting a male and later a female. They were always spayed and neutered. It began getting difficult to find an Airedale when we needed one, to be a replacement for one of our older dogs, so I decided to become a breeder.
What makes your program special?
I love Airedales! I had my first Airedale when I was 8 yrs old. and not only am I working to breed a healthy, gorgeous Airedale – I work with a professional trainer and attend training class 2x weekly. I take them in the public and I teach people about their historic value to our country! They were very instrumental in WW I and WW II. I call them a Generalist, really good at whatever they do!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Janis has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Janis partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

This is the time of their life where they're rather messy – they aren't big enough to go potty very far from where they stay. They have pine pellet residue on them, but that is helping keep them dry. The weather is nice out today so they are getting a little outside time. The puppies are starting to get around pretty well!

About Abby
Abby is an Oorang Airedale. She lacked getting puppy socialization in her earlier days however now she is going to training in public places, with many canine classmates along with humans and she is doing awesome! She is rather blond in color, Apricot, however is absolutely stunning!

About Grizzly
Grizzly is an Oorang Airedale. He missed out on puppy socialization as a young one however, we are working to make up for that. He goes to training in a group, in public places and has been handled by an eight year-old on up to 16-year-old kids. He is starting to act like a puppy when he goes to training – he loves to go to Dog training! He knows what days they’re on!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
