I'm Amber K., the breeder behind AK located in Greentown, IN. Our dam’s line is mainly pet line gsd and service dogs while the sire we use is working. Our hope with this litter is to have well rounded dogs that will thrive at both. I do not place puppies into apartments.

Amber has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"The price listed on puppies includes good dog fee. The price we get will cover vet exam, deworming, vaccinations, AKC preregistered microchip, AKC limited registration papers, lifetime support for puppy, go home bag. And some training (potty, basic manners(does not mean puppy will not jump etc but have worked on things however they are still puppies), introduction to scent work etc)."
Amber may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Amber offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Amber directly.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Amber.

Temperament tests are this Saturday after that I will know for sure which ones will be available for sport work or pet homes. The following week 3 females will be placed in pet homes and 1 male in a sport home. After I know which ones the individual puppies info will be updated😁❤️

German Shepherd
About Raven
Raven is a really good girl she absolutely adores kids and frequently goes camping. She has been through basic obedience but mostly enjoys hanging out on the sofa and playing ball.
Great health testing
Excellent level
AK reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Shepherds.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
