Amy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Amy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“SELECTION OF A PUPPY The purchaser is aware that they will not be selecting their puppy alone from the litter, the breeder will assist to determine if there is a puppy available that is suitable for your home. Multiple factors must be evaluated to get the right puppies into the correct home. The most important factor is temperament. We use your family’s application, notes made about your family throughout the process, breeder’s notes, and evaluation of the puppy, 6-week-old puppy party visit family form, and temperament testing and vet evaluation. Next, we evaluate the puppy’s structure and quality to determine whether the puppy should be placed in a show/breeding home or a non-breeding home. Finally, after sorting through these conditions above we try our best to match your preference in coat type, gender, and color. Please remember that temperament is the most important consideration. You cannot live with a dog, no matter how beautiful its coat color and markings are, if the puppy does not have the correct personality for your family. WHEN WILL WE KNOW WHICH PUPPY IS OURS? While we observe all our puppies throughout their development, we do not complete the evaluation process until the puppies are 7 weeks old. All our outside testing is completed around 7 weeks old. At this time, we feel that armed with the results of any temperament evaluations, vet exams, and our notes we can make the best determination on which puppy belongs to which family, pet or show home. At times waiting can be difficult for families, especially those with children, but we ask that you be patient and let the process work for you. We make our family placements between 8 and 9 weeks of age. ”

“Price is same for pet/performance/show dog, male/female. Includes an AKC registered puppy, microchip, vaccines, worming, CAER exam by board certified ophthalmologist, binder & continued support. The utmost care is taken throughout the pups' time here to be sure we have all information needed to make the best match with individual families. We never make a family take a pup they don't want.”
