I'm Samantha S., the breeder behind Always Faithful Weimaraners located in Waverly, NY. We purchased our first Weimaraner in 2015 from a BYB, this was an experience that led us to educate ourselves before buying another. Always knew we'd want more, and found Anna in 2018. She was the start to our hobby of showing dogs in Confirmation, Performance Sports and Breeding.

Why did you start breeding?
I initially began for my own interest and to continue quality bloodlines of a good friends Weimaraner with my Weimaraner. I wanted another puppy of my own, and the ability to learn and grown in something that I enjoyed. Dogs are my joy, they are with me at all times unless I am at work, and occasionally they even go with me to work. We show in Conformation, Agility, Rally and are learning the ropes at Hunting.What makes your program special?
We are family centered. Our puppies are raised in our home. We do not do a lot of breeding and breed only for the betterment of the breed, to maintain within the standard, quality temperaments, and healthy dogs that are capable of excelling in conformation and performance sports!What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Litter update on 04 Dec., 9:44 PM •…Well, we are confirmed! Xray scheduled for puppy count on Dec 30. Puppies due the following week! Jan 5. Also shared what I’ve been seeing. A pic of her belly the Saturday I picked her up from Georgia, and this past Saturday!

Litter update on 15 Nov. •…I got some awesome news today! Ariya’s cousin, Roxy or Magic’s Cold As Ice At Graybriar, went Best of Breed at the National Dog Show today in Philadelphia. This is a big deal for us show folks. Especially when you’re going up against one of the top Weims as a just barely (Nov17) 1 year old! This shows groups will be televised on Thanksgiving day after the Macy’s Day Parade! If you’re interested in seeing one of the Magic Weims at work tune in!

Litter update on 15 Nov. •…Every breeder knows this feeling. Your phone buzzes a few days after a puppy goes home, and the message starts out sweet. “We love him, but…” And you can already guess the rest. He barks. He nips. He cries at night. He’s “a lot.” The thing is… that isn’t a problem. That’s a puppy. They’re babies trying to figure out life without their mum and littermates. They’re confused, overstimulated, excited, scared, and curious all at the same time. That’s completely normal. But a lot of people today want the easy version. The one they see online. The perfectly calm eight week old who never chews anything and somehow already knows every command. They forget that behind every well trained, well mannered adult dog is someone who put in the work. Someone who showed up every day with patience, structure, and consistency. So when someone says, “He’s adorable, but I don’t think we’re a good fit,” what they usually mean is that they wanted the love without the learning curve. No puppy comes pre programmed. Even the best raised babies need time to adjust. They need guidance, calm energy, and someone willing to put in the effort. People confuse an easy puppy with a good one. The truth is every puppy is good. They’re just new. And anything new is messy before it becomes magical. As breeders, we see it all. We comfort the ones who come back scared and confused. We remind them gently, “You didn’t do anything wrong.” Because it’s never their fault when someone wasn’t ready for the tough parts that lead to the best parts. Puppies aren’t a trend, or a trial run, or something to “see if it works out.” They’re a commitment. A little piece of your heart on four legs. If you’re not ready for the messy parts of puppyhood, that’s okay. Just wait until you can give your whole heart. These little souls deserve nothing less. 💜🐾 Shared from another breeder.

Litter update on 10 Nov. •Ariya is home from Georgia. Puppy due date we are going by I’ll be January 6. We will be having an ultrasound on Dec 4

Litter update on 04 Nov. •Ariya was bred today! Countdown starts, Jan 5 would be the first official due date, she is with Monk the rest of the week, so will have ties the next couple days as well! Ultrasound to be scheduled first week in December.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Spinal Dysraphism (SD), Hypomyelination, Weimaraner Type, Hyperuricosuria (HUU)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
