I'm Alyse H., the breeder behind Alysium Ridgebacks located in Spokane, WA. I spend countless hours with each puppy, socializing and preparing them for their forever homes. I introduce them to things they will encounter in the real world to assure all the puppies I produce are confident and set up to thrive in their new homes. I truly love my puppies and know you will, too!

What makes your program special?
I am a professional dog trainer and take the time off from work needed to properly care for, train, and socialize the puppies to the best of my ability. I raise each puppy to bring out their best and build a solid foundation making training leaving them eager to learn and making training easier for their owners.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Parent health testing
Good level

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Primary Hyperparathyroidism (PHPT), DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
