Why did you start breeding?
As a long-time representative and preservation breeder for the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, I strive to maintain the unique characteristics of these dogs and understand the important role that breeders undertake as guardians for the future of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same.
What makes your program special?
I have decades of experience with this breed! My program is committed to only breeding dogs that meet the strict guidelines for quality that we have deemed appropriate to improving these wonderful dogs. I am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole. My dogs are fully healthy and CHIC certified in canine health. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and can provide extensive knowledge and guidance for any family looking to adopt one of these wonderful dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are wheaten. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
