Meet the breeder

I'm Kristen G., the breeder behind Amble Creek Old English Sheepdogs located in Lucas, TX. We are dedicated to a program that embodies the AKC standard in health, structure, & temperament. We complete full health testing & prioritize sound minds & bodies above all else. Puppies are raised with an enriching socialization program that fosters confidence, curiosity, & a loving disposition.

Q. & A. with Kristen

  • Why did you start breeding?

Growing up, my family raised sporting breeds, & I loved helping with training & caring for each litter. That early experience led me to work as a Veterinary Technician & later in canine nutrition, where I deepened my understanding of health & wellness. I'm dedicated to preserving & improving these amazing breeds while raising healthy, happy puppies who become cherished family members.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is an extension of my heart. I do not believe in producing puppies on a whim & my goal is always to produce healthy puppies with the correct conformation & temperament. We take extra care to socialize our puppies from day one with an enriching & stimulating environment. Puppies are raised in our home surrounded by the noises of daily life, children & protected outdoor play.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are gray and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
