I'm Sarah F., the breeder behind American K-9 Kennel located in Pueblo West, CO. I am a small hobby breeder of carefully selected German Shepherds. My goal to better the breed and those that love them. I hand-raise all of my dogs with love in my home. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability!

Why did you start breeding?
Passion! My dogs have brought so much happiness to me. I wanted to do my part to give my puppies a good life as well as spread the joy they provide with others. I really value the connections I form with my buyers and love to continue to watch my puppies grow up through their eyes.What makes your program special?
We let families interact with their pups before go home to make sure they chose the correct temperament for their specific needs. While I know that not every pup in each litter will grow up to become a service dog, I am confident that each one will become a treasured family member!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
