Meet the breeder

I'm Tara M., the breeder behind Apple Creek Doodles located in Jeddo, MI. My passion is to breed top-quality puppies. Our parent dogs have Hip, Elbow, Heart and Patellas certified by O.F.A. and we also do Genetic testing on our adults as well via Paw Print Genetics. Pups are raised in our home and once older, in our nursery for ease of training. Pups come with a 2-year health warranty, microchip, vet check, de-worming protocol, 30 days free pet insurance, and a custom binder for their litter.

Q. & A. with Tara

  • Why did you start breeding?

At the age of 17 I got my first job at a Dog Boarding/Breeding kennel. That's where I was able to get my first Lab puppy Allie Boo, she was such a wonderful girl. It all started with her and evolved to Doodles in 2004. Each of my dogs has brought so much happiness to me throughout their lives. I want to do my part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and to provide each of my puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.
  • What makes your program special?

We make sure our adults are happy, healthy and want for nothing. They are raised in our home but can also spend time in our fully fenced acreage and lounge on our deck covered by shade trees. I treasure each Dog/Puppy in my program and give them all the attention and care I can. I work hard so my puppies can confidently leave my home, ready to take on the world with their new family!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Labradoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Poodle puppies include moyen and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, phantom, and parti. Labradoodle puppies include merle, caramel ice, caramel cream, caramel red, chocolate, and black. Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Poodle puppies are parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
