Meet the breeder

I'm Lauren S., the breeder behind Arctic Tails Spitz located in Winston, OR. Our breeding dogs are all health and temperament tested, and loved members of our family. Q. & A. with Lauren

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had my own Pomsky and fell in love with the breed. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded pups. Not only did I get my dream dog, but I also discovered an incredible group of breeders with the goal of getting the breed recognized with the AKC. I am devoted to ensuring there are happy and healthy Pomskies for others to enjoy.
  • What makes your program special?

Having spent years working in rescue, I do not take breeding lightly. My priority will always be the welfare of my dogs and puppies and the progression of the breed. My dogs and puppies are considered members of my family, and they get the best care I can possibly provide. My puppies are raised as family members and sent home with everything they need to become well-rounded companions.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include toy, mini, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Lauren was so awesome to work with! We don’t live close so we were able to FaceTime to met our new puppy and she met us half way to make delivery as well. So far we are loving our new addition to the family!

Lauren was so great to work with! She was responsive and prepared with all the information about Rain ( now Nova ) prior to me coming to meet the puppy. She was kind and you could tell that her and her family truly cared about their animals. Nova came already used to a crate and going potty outside. She is an absolutely amazing dog! I would definitely recommend going with Lauren as a breeder!
