I'm Allen K., the breeder behind ARK Greyhound Kennel LLC located in Mesa, AZ. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable Greyhound puppies and connect loving families with their new best friends! We find so much joy in watching our puppies grow and develop their own unique personalities. We can’t wait for you to meet your next loving and loyal companion!

Why did you start breeding?
I realized the need for intentional greyhound breeding as I watched the racing circuit decline over the past few years. “I did not wish for the 200-year-old bloodlines of the American Racing Greyhound to become extinct or for others to miss the experience of a lifetime, having the companionship of these intelligent, loving, loyal, 45mph pups.What makes your program special?
Our bloodlines are proven, and our genealogy dates back 200 years. Undoubtedly, your puppy will be a purebred greyhound with papers recognized by the National Greyhound Association and The American Kennel Club.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and black, blue brindle, red brindle and white, fawn, blue and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Allen
Allen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Allen partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We do things the old-fashioned way: we talk on the phone, interview each potential puppy buyer, and match each of our buyers with the puppy that has the sought-after characteristics. I will make a suggestion to the buyer based on those desired traits and have the buyer watch videos of that puppy to confirm my suggestion. Locals are welcome to come to the kennel and observe the litter. ”
Price
“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, Microchip and basic training. First-come, first-served. The first deposit gets the first pick of litter. Deposits are transferable from litter to litter.”

About Rain
Rain is our newest dam. Her registered name is "Feels Like Rain". She came from a racing background and was set to race in West Virginia, but a toe injury kept her off the track. Rain is a sweet and playful little girl. We recently brought her to our kennel from a Greyhound farm in Kansas, where she was whelped and raised. Rain is registered with the NGA and AKC. Rain competed in her first Lure coursing event and beat 4 other Greyhounds to be crowned Best in Breed on 2/22//26.

Keltic Blondie SC DCAT. Blondie is currently among the fastest Greyhounds in FCATS in the nation. She also earned her Senior Courser title last season. Blondie also came to our kennel from the Keltic farm in Texas when she was 10 weeks old. If all goes well, she should earn her FCat title this year, and if all goes according to plan, she became a mom for the first time 3/13/26

Dodger is a beautiful Blue-Greyhound. He has been doing great in his first full year of FCats and Lure Coursing, earning his BCAT. He is currently ranked among the fastest Greyhounds in the nation in FCATS and earned his SC title in lure coursing. Dodger sired his first litter, which was born on March 13th, 2026. Dodger is registered with the NGA and AKC.

Kash is a sister from a different litter of Keltic Lilac; they share the same mom, Hungry for Money. Kash was from Money's last litter before she was retired from Breeding. Kash has a personality very much like Lilac's: sweet, gentle, and with just the right amount of sass. Kash will be a fierce competitor in the racing world. Kash ran outstanding times on her first FCAT, almost breaking the 5's, and most recently won her first Best in Breed lure coursing. Kash is AKC registered.

About Hoss
His owner did not give Hoss a name, though he was ready to go to WV to start his professional racing career; a last-minute decision brought him my way. I named him Hoss as a tribute to Phoenix Greyhound Park's all-time win holder, Wigwam Hoss. He is a beautiful Blue brindle and will most certainly start running lure coursing and FCAT once his registration is received from the NGA. Hoss is registered with the NGA and AKC.

FC Keltic Lilac SC BCAT Known around the Kennel as Lilac or Lacky, this beautiful brindle has been honored in her first season of Lure Course Racing and Fast Cats as a Field Champion, Senior Courser, and BCAT. Last year, her racing season was cut short due to being a mom once again. She is as sweet as she is fast. She comes from a long line of Racing Greyhounds. Born in Texas, she made the trip to our Kennel at six months of age. This playful girl loves to play fetch with tennis balls and reminds you several times a day that it’s time to go outside and play. Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Allen was superb throughout the entire process. His knowledge and passion for the breed and his hounds is unparalleled. Having had a retired racer previously, we were well prepared to handle the adult version of the breed but Allen made sure to walk us through all the nuances that come with raising puppy and young adult versions. We truly couldn’t have been happier with their set up and the breeding program he and his wife have created. Allen was a great communicator. He answered all my questions and shared so much information about the breed. You can tell he really loves his dogs. Where the puppies were, inside the house, was so clean and completely structured for the puppies. This is the first time I have bought a dog from a breeder and it was such an amazing experience!!
