Meet the breeder

I'm Roger W., the breeder behind Aslan Wheatens located in Owosso, MI. We hold ourselves to high standards for the integrity of our program. All of our puppies are socialized, nurtured, and loved! Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

Q. & A. with Roger

  • Why did you start breeding?

We got involved in breeding because of the interest friends and acquaintances had in our dogs and our desire to help to focus on health and temperament in future generations of pups along with continuing to focus on the confirmation of our amazing breed.
  • What makes your program special?

We make breeding decisions by "committee". I confer with three of the most active and dedicated members of our club to discuss temperament, confirmation, and health of perspective sires and dams before we ever bring a litter to fruition. This has enabled us to offer pups that are healthy, happy, consistent and dependable to families around the country.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
