I'm Tara L., the breeder behind Audacious Malinois located in Helotes, TX. Temperament is just as important as drive to me and I pride myself on producing dogs that will work all day but also are good with children and other dogs. I practice Puppy Culture to ensure my pups are well-rounded before they leave for their new homes. I also do early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction to set pups up for their best lives in sport and work.

Why did you start breeding?
I have owned, trained and loved Belgian malinois since 1999. My foundation bitch is an exceptional dog who has titled to the highest level in 2 challenging bite sports- IPO3 and MR3.What makes your program special?
I am dedicated to putting in the work that will allow each and every puppy to grow into their best self. I do puppy culture as well as ESI and ENS. I begin crate training as early as 5 weeks and litter train puppies so that house training them at home is easier.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tara
Tara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

“The price includes first round of shots, microchip and AKC registration. Puppies are raised with puppy culture, early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction, ensuring a well balanced puppy with the foundation for any sport you plan to compete in. A puppy gift pack with food, toys and mementos as well as lifetime support from your breeder. Deposit will be refunded or saved for future litter if there isn’t an appropriate puppy available, buyers choice.”

Tara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Mimic
Mimic is training in French ring and mondioring, agility, obedience and has excelled at dock diving. She was invited to NADD nationals both seasons that she has competed. Her personal best is 27’3”. She is titled in mondioring (MR1), dockdiving, obedience, rally and fastCAT. She’s also training in agility, nosework and barn hunt. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
