I'm Tara B., the breeder behind Baby Bell Doodles located in Edwardsville, IL. We are breeders who do everything we can to better the breed and ensure our dogs and puppies are able to get the very most out of life. We are breeding to achieve light and loose curl coat puppies. They are bred to be mini/medium standards. We love these dogs and know you will too!
Q. & A. with Tara
Why did you start breeding?
After getting our first Doodle I had a lot of inquiries on her and her looks and coat. So it peaked my interest in it and now I'm doing gene homework and color trait homework.
What makes your program special?
We are going through genetic tests and vetting the two dogs in a program at the moment. We have in-home dogs no outdoor kennels. Puppies will get daily attention and love, Noise, and crate training before going to homes.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, chocolate, black, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
