I'm Megan S., the breeder behind Bad Luck Farm located in Jamestown, TN. Our dogs are balanced, stable, and discerning. These dogs are independent and intelligent and thrive doing the job they were bred for: guardianship. We raise our puppies with this on the forefront, but always give them a solid foundation on general manners and obedience.
Q. & A. with Megan
Why did you start breeding?
Finding a versatile working dog proved to be somewhat difficult for us, and once we found exactly what we were looking for we wanted to try and replicate those ideal traits, and improve them by selective breeding. Many proven working dogs in our area were not health tested, and we wanted to be sure that this was also a foundation of our budding program.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are working partners, and family members. We expect our dogs to be discerning enough to neutralize threats when needed, but know when we are welcoming someone (or a new animal) onto the property. Our dogs are also pleasant house guests when needed, but immediately go back out into the field when asked. You CAN have it all!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
