Q. & A. with Shawna

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have been breeding, showing and training German Shepherds at Badenheath since 2000. We bring these years of experience to each litter we produce.
  • What makes your program special?

We space litters and are extremely selective in our breeding program, utilizing only the top lines with proven structure, working ability, and temperaments. We focus on healthy hips and longevity so that your new addition will be an unforgettable companion for many years. Our dogs exude intelligence, loyalty and the bomb-proof, family dog temperament a true Shepherd should have. All pups are temperament tested and include 6 weeks of free puppy preschool classes.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include plush, stock, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
