I'm Tina P., the breeder behind Badger State Bassets located in Wheeler, WI. Our dogs, Walter and Winnie, are the heart of our home and the proud parents of this litter. Both are on-site, well-socialized, and true to the affectionate, easygoing nature of Basset Hounds. We’re happy to answer questions, send updates, or schedule a visit.

Why did you start breeding?
I've had a passion for Basset Hounds since I was little, watching the Dukes of Hazzard. Bassets are great family dogs, and each come with their own unique personality.What makes your program special?
Both sire and dam (dad and mom) are part of our family. This is our first litter and we are thrilled to share our love of basset hounds with potential puppy families.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Tina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $900 final payment, before taxes & fees.
