I'm Margaret P., the breeder behind Bandersnatch located in Spencer, NY. We strive to breed for health, temperament, and conformation. We admire the Border Terrier and do what we can to better the breed. We want to establish relationships with the owners of my puppies for the lifetime of the puppy and beyond.
Q. & A. with Margaret
Why did you start breeding?
Border Terriers were a rare breed when I first got into them. The breeder of my first Border encouraged me to breed her and mentored me. She produced my first homebred champion, Ch Bandesnatch Brillig. I do not breed often but have had some success over the years.
What makes your program special?
I breed with my daughter Amanda. We are interested in longevity, health, and temperament. We establish relationships with the owners of our puppies for the lifetime of the puppy and beyond. We establish relationships with other breeders and have lasting friendships in the breed.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
