Q. & A. with Gavon, Tammy, and Landon

  • Why did you start breeding?

We took our deep love for European Basset Hounds to a new level by offering them to others who also share the same love for the breeds.
  • What makes your program special?

Each breeding is heavily influenced by the breed standards and health protocols for each breed. Each litter will be evaluated by conformation and temperament to be able to give each family their perfect match, whether entering the show ring, a breeding program, or being a life long pet family member.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Everything from the very beginning went very smoothly and so easy. Landon was so kind and helpful. We set up a plan to meet half way with miss Kenya, who was also so amazing to work with. The sweetest lady!! Our sweet boy has been home a week, and is so smart, playful, and curious. He fit right in right away, even after 16 hours in two different vehicles! He gets along so well with the other animals, our kids, and everyone else who comes by to meet him. We had a wonderful experience all the way around. And not if, but when I convince my husband I need another basset (; we will be coming right back here!

Amazing Breeders! From inquiry to final purchase it was smooth sailing! All questions were answered quickly and I was given a care package for my boyat time of pick up that had so much useful information. If you're looking for a Basset Hound, I would highly recommend them!

He’s the sweetest puppy with the most precious disposition. We’re so happy to have him and feel very fortunate to have met Landon and his family from Bar H Farms. Kenya delivered him to us and now feels like part of the family. What a wonderful experience with the very best outcome.
