Meet the breeder

I'm Ian & Laureen (Little) v., the breeder behind Bar TT Ranch Entlebuchers located in Cottonwood, AZ. We love the Entlebucher Mountain Dog breed and breed to retain genetic material for breed survival. Ours is a fairly rare breed, so mating choices and successful litters are critical. We support owners to breed their pups (with our help). Entlebuchers are versatile, athletic, loyal family dogs.

Q. & A. with Ian & Laureen (Little)

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started in quarter horses, and learned about pedigrees and genetic conditions while breeding horses. After our first Entle puppy we were hooked and decided to help breed survival through carefully planned breeding. Breeding is hard, messy work but the rewards are great. I love to pour over pedigrees and photographs planning the next match, and watch our puppies grow and develop.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs have excellent genetics, solid conformation, good health history and excellent temperament. The puppies they produce have been of consistently excellent show quality and are healthy. We study all things regarding dog health and longevity and we health test our dogs before we breed. Homes are chosen to match each individual pup. Ideally, we want our pups to breed in the future.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
