I'm Vincent B., the breeder behind Barton’s German Shepherds located in Yuba City, CA. We bred our dogs ensuring all dogs have genetics and health worthy of breeding. Our intention is to breed and train our puppies for success to prepare them for any jobs they do.

Why did you start breeding?
Began training as a kid. Fell in-love with the breed. When I became a dad I felt the need to share my passion with them and raise them with GSD’s. Breeding was my way of providing a quality dog to those who needed a well bred and trainable solid tempered German ShepherdWhat makes your program special?

Vincent has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Vincent partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“I place based on information families provide to lifestyle and gender preferences. I go by deposit received to a specific puppy chosen. My puppies are microchipped.”

“We socialize our puppies with other dogs, family & friends. The puppies have exposure to tons of sounds, noise from the city life, pups play in the front yard so all the school kids play with them. Non refundable We do not waste a min of your time and we wouldn’t want our pups to miss a placement, if they do it will be expected to keep the deposit.”

Cat is a very gentle cuddle bug. However, don’t cross her family because she will turn into a ferocious guard dog. She is very protective very loyal and highly intuitive to danger.. she has done some sports. She has a lot of agility. She’s very capable of handling herself and any situation. She is well-rounded very grounded, solid tempered and makes excellent police force dogs and has proven that in the past litters that she has given.

AKC registered he is and with all of his offspring will be provided Sammy has all recommended health clearances, including OFA certified hips & Elbows. Sammy is genetically prefect non carrier of any genetic condition.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I had a great experience working with Vincent of Barton's German Shepherds. Vincent was very intent on helping me get the little girl I chose. He responded promptly, answered all my questions, and then made it happen! It has only been two weeks since I got my girl "Storm". She has a happy soul, bright eyed, and definitely smart. So far she's mastered sit, lay down, and stay for maybe 5 seconds. :) She was already potty trained and crate trained. From the beginning, Vincent was responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly cared about where his puppies were going and how they were doing. We brought home our boy Viserion (Vizzy), and he has been everything we could have hoped for. He is absolutely beautiful, but even more importantly, his temperament is incredible. He is calm, confident, observant, affectionate, and extremely intuitive. He settled into our home and our other German Shepherds beautifully and has such a naturally balanced personality. As he has grown, we’ve been especially impressed by how thoughtful and aware he is of both the people and dogs around him.
