I'm Grant R., the breeder behind Bayou Schnauz and Dals located in Moreauville, LA. For us, breeding is more than a responsibility; it’s our passion. We believe every family deserves the joy of a dog raised with love, and every puppy deserves the chance to bring that joy to someone’s life.
Q. & A. with Grant
Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding started with a love for our own dogs. Over time, that love grew into a passion for sharing the joy of Miniature Schnauzers and Dalmatians with others. What began as family pets has become a family-run business, where raising happy, healthy puppies is both our mission and our joy.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised with care, love, and attention to health, temperament, and breed standards. Every litter is carefully planned, vet-checked, and socialized in a home environment to ensure happy, well-adjusted companions. We’re committed to quality, transparency, and lifelong support for every family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include wheaten, white, parti, liver, black and silver, salt and pepper, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
