I'm joy d., the breeder behind Beards and Brows Miniature Schnauzers located in Punta Gorda, FL. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy! Each puppy is cuddled and played with by all members of my family. We have 4 forever schnauzers and are passionate about passing on the great traits and temperments of the parents.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother, who is pictured, spent her entire life breeding, grooming and showing AKC Poodles! She only did 2 litters a year, it was a hobby and passion! I am all about the schnauzers! My stud dog has the most amazing personality of any pet I have had the privilidge of having in my home! Breeding is not my full time job, so I take the time to enjoy the entire process!What makes your program special?
I am a hobby breeder, not a puppy mill! I only have 2 litters a year, and this allows me to focus on enjoying the pups and getting to know their personalities, so that I can help them find the perfect fit! Additionally, I follow all of my pups, as I will always view them as my extended family members. I never sell my "forever" dogs.....it's a privilidge to be able to share their lives!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver, salt and pepper, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
