Beautifully Bernese

Addie S.

Breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs

Meet the breeder

I'm Addie S., the breeder behind Beautifully Bernese located in Girard, PA. We have 3 wonderful daughters who are heavily involved in the cuddling process of raising these beautiful pups. Our dogs are part of our family, they live with us, grow with us and learn with us.

Q. & A. with Addie

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our oldest daughter was born with disabilities, and will likely live with us forever. We started talking about what would help her become more independent and social. Since she has an incredible passion for dogs, we thought about breeding Bernese and involving her in the process. It's been a great adventure!
  • What makes your program special?

We breed for an amazing companion and family dog. Our daughters are so good at playing and socializing the puppies-they go home incredibly excited to meet their new families. Our puppies are never kenneled, and live with us and learn with us until we send them off to their forever homes.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black rust and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
