Q. & A. with Natalie

  • Why did you start breeding?

After getting my first German Shepherd and doing more research of this breed. I realized that with the proper training and socialization, this breed is incredible with amazing personalities and benefits! I knew my next step was to spread the joy of German Shepherds.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes my breeding program special is my focus on health, temperament, and life style of my German Shepherds. I am dedicated to being a responsible breeder. My programs includes: 1. Health testing; I perform multiple OFA health screenings for common genetic issues in German Shepherds to ensure only the healthiest dogs are bred. 2. Socialization: It is important to socialize this breed. My puppies are exposed/socialized with a variety of different species of animals, people of different ages, and environments. 3. Temperaments/Traits: I make sure to only breed the dogs with the best personalities. I try to rule out any unwanted temperament/ traits such as; aggression, submissive peeing, etc. 4. Education: I inform all new families with information, helping them to understand what this breed needs, and giving them different resources to use as they adjust to their newest addition to the family. 5. Time and Dedication: My commitment is to my dogs/puppies but also to their new families. Dedicating my time and resources into my canines and their families to ensure they have a long successful life together!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, black and cream, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Natalie was very knowledgeable about Colt and the breed she was raising. She was very informative about their habits and temperament. Natalie was very responsive anytime I had questions she always answered within a short time frame. Good Dog made sure I if I had any questions for them they made themselves available. This was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them and Natalie to everyone who wants a Pure Breed Puppy.

Natalie was excellent to work with! It's obvious she takes great care and puts lots of thought into the pairings she does to better the breed. Natalie was also able to make me feel really good about purchasing a puppy from her; she was always willing to thoroughly answer my many questions. My new boy is an excellent addition to the family and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish in training as he gets older!
