Why did you start breeding?
I’m getting Kanga I knew in my mind I wanted to learn enough about the breed and training dogs to help her have a litter. It’s been such an exciting and fulfilling experience for me and my family. We are hopeful to help our pups find the best homes.What makes your program special?
We treat all our pups as family the entire time they are in our home. They are socialized from the start and are given all the love and best health care we can offer.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black rust and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Our price included a limited (no breeding) AKC registration, vaccinations, dew claws removed and dewormed, vet health check and a puppy goodie bag. All our puppies are the same price.”

About Kanga
Kanga is everyone favorite, she is playful and snuggly. She is nana from Peter Pan in real life and has be an adoring mother to her new pups.
Parent health testing
Good level
Berner Acre Woods reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Bernese Mountain Dogs.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
