Why did you start breeding?
We always had dogs growing up and our dream always was to have our own someday. That day came eventually and we settled on the Bernese Mountain dog. Why?? I wanted a big dog, a beautiful dog, and a dog that does great with children. The bernese fit the bill perfectlyWhat makes your program special?
Our dogs live outside mostly! While inside some, they prefer being where we are which is often outside. They love it especially in the winter when it's snowing. While they always have access to shelter, whether it's snowing or raining, they always choose to stay out in the cold! Our dogs are champion/show bloodlines and you can follow many generations back to get a great overview on the health of their bloodlines! Watson's from Hungary and Inka's ancestory are from Poland, Russia and Germany.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black tan and white and black rust and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

About Inka
Inka loves all living things! A people please and loves being with her people. She has showed a lot of interest in the pups when they’re tiny all the way up to 8 weeks when they leave us. She's e a great mom to her first litter! her Inka bounce and swagger have returned but she is still gentle and attentive to her pups. She’s genetically clear by parentage but her testing has been completed as well. Her dad, Max was a Russian import. At 4 years old, he still lives with Milan. His hips/elbows/patellas/heart/eyes are tested and cleared as well as clear genetics! He’s an impressive dog weighing in at 120 lbs. He has a heart of gold tho and absolutely loves everybody! Indy is Inka’s mom. A tubby girl with short legs and a barrel body. She’s much shorter than Max and weighs an astonishing 125 lbs. Her mom was an import from Germany. Indy has had OFA clearances for elbow/hip/patellas and also heart and genetic tested. Inka’s Bernegard number is: 221542

Kenia is our super mom! She has mothered previous litters and does an awesome job from start to finish. A slightly background dog but when she's with you, she is TOTALLY with you! Some of her pups have gone onto therapy work. We are happy with what she has added to our program.

Watson is a goofy, fluffy dog. With that classic berner lean, most often you'll find him sitting on our feet, or at least, right by our side! Watson is a compact berner, imported directly from Hungary. His puppies have great temperaments!

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
