Q. & A. with Emily
Why did you start breeding?
I have enjoyed working with animals all my life and when I expressed interest in breeding dogs my husband was excited. He has always been involved in genetics and breeding of horses and livestock so he handles selection and evaluation of dogs for our breeding program. Our son and I do the day to day puppy raising.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Dilute Retriever puppies include silver, charcoal, and fox red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
