I'm Bobbie W., the breeder behind Big River Weimaraners located in Dittmer, MO. We offer high-quality Weimaraner puppies to show and companion homes. We breed for health, temperament, and conformation. We take responsible breeding very seriously, and we’re thorough in health testing and caring for our dogs. We make sure each puppy gets the proper group and individual attention that it needs to thrive, and we do all that we can to prepare them for their future roles and families.
Q. & A. with Bobbie
Why did you start breeding?
Being occasional hobby breeders, we only have bred when we find dogs with the right temperament with good conformation and potential for any performance/hunting activities. Mom is certified therapy dog, both parents w great conformation/performance pedigree.
What makes your program special?
Our pups are raised in our home in rural Missouri, well socialized to kids and sights and sounds of the country. Both sire and dam are on the premesis. Pups will be temperament tested, and confirmation evaluated, results to be shared w new owners.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are silver gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
