    Our journey with giant breeds spans over a decade, filled with countless memories, learnings, and moments of pride. Our expertise began with the regal Pyrenees and the affectionate Newfoundland. Our experience with these giant breeds laid a solid foundation for our venture into Leonbergers, ensuring that every puppy we breed is a reflection of our commitment to quality & love for giant breeds.

    Nestled along the shores of the Gulf Coast in Port Lavaca, Texas, Bigfoot Leonberger Ranch is not just a breeding facility—it's a haven where the majestic Leonberger dogs roam, play, and thrive. Our Leonbergers, affectionately termed as "Gulf Coast Beach Fur Babies," are a testament to the breed's adaptability and our commitment to quality breeding.

    Our puppies include yellow and reddish brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Valentina

Valentina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $1,500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
