Meet the breeder

I'm Kimberlee T., the breeder behind Black Magic Xolos located in Kent, WA. Our dogs compete in conformation, sport, and performance while living as beloved companions. Dedicated to preservation, education, and responsible placement.

Q. & A. with Kimberlee

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell in love with the Xoloitzcuintli breed in 2024 after meeting my foundation male, Kola. Through training and competing with him in bite sports, I became deeply fascinated by the breed’s intelligence, athleticism, and unique temperament. That journey led me to study preservation breeding more seriously while learning under Kola’s esteemed breeders and mentors and adding a second Xolo, Arcana.
  • What makes your program special?

My program is centered on preserving the fine Mexican standard of the Xoloitzcuintli with emphasis on athleticism, structure, and regal breed type. I value dogs with working temperaments, functional movement, and the versatility to excel in sport and active companion homes. Every breeding decision is made with purpose, aiming to honor the breed’s history while producing capable, confident dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include hairless and coated coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, liver, and bronze. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
