I'm Le Anna and Shelley D., the breeder behind Bliss Acres Farm located in Ponca City, OK. We are reputable breeders with 30 years of experience in raising healthy, happy, well socialized puppies. We work hard to follow the breed standards to produce the best puppies to our ability. All litters are bred with love inside our home nursery and are provided daily 24 hr care, socialization, and training. We specialize in AKC registered applehead Chihuahua's, both long-hair and short-hair, and Pomeranians. Our love for these beautiful dog's shines through in every aspect of our breeding program. We offer lifetime breeder support, and a puppy health guarantee to all our puppy families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We fell in love with this wonderful breed over 30 years ago and have raised them as part of the family. We've studied genetics extensively and It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others. It has been an absolute joy of a journey and we pride ourselves on helping all of our clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle.

    Our love for dogs inspired us to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. We dedicate our entire lives to our dogs and their well-being. We raise happy, healthy, well-adjusted, loving puppies. We offer a lifetime breeder support system and a puppy health guarantee.   • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Chihuahua puppies include long and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Pomeranian puppies include orange parti, orange, cream, white, chocolate, wolf sable, orange sable, beaver sable, beaver, tri-colored, cream sable, red sable, chocolate sable, and chocolate and tan. Chihuahua puppies include chocolate, cream, fawn, red, black sabled fawn, blue, blue fawn, chocolate sabled fawn, gold, white, red and white, black and white, chocolate and white, cream and white, chocolate and tan, black and tan, blue and white, gold and white, and fawn and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Le Anna and Shelley

Puppy prices include a $325 non-refundable deposit and between $1,875 - $3,875 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Prices are based on size, color, genetics, and conformation. Our typical price range is: $2200 - $4200 and intended for loving companion/pet home. Breeding rights are available on certain puppies, for an additional fee. *Must be discussed up front. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment Policy - After deposit, payment in full is arranged shortly after your puppy selection. We also offer flexible weekly or bi-weekly payment plans, if so needed. I'm sorry,, but we do not offer a pay at pick-up option. Puppies do need to be paid in full prior to 7 weeks old as we use the last week for any travel arrangements,, and to prepare their journey home."

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Full Embark Panel, Animal Genetics Panel, DNA Profile

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    My new baby arrived home on Friday 🙂 I have to say, as a long time furry baby mommy, I am so in love with my new puppy! Shelly was absolutely marvelous through the entire process and I feel very lucky that I found Pearl through Gooddog! More importantly, my new puppy is so healthy, playful, and exactly what I was dreaming for! Shelly made the process easy and stress free because she was always hyper responsive, sent me videos of little Pearl and was extremely diligent with the entire process. Shelly made it easy for me to understand all the details of the adoption process and more importantly, when I mentioned that I would not be able to travel to pick up little Pearl, she made it very easy to schedule a flight Nanny that delivered Pearl to my door 🙂 when Pearl arrived she came with a very sweet and thoughtfully prepared baggie with all her most precious toys and her mommy's scent blankie along with her puppy food her little doggie treats 🙂 I could not recommend any other breeder more than Shelly because of the excellent experience that I've had. My new puppy is happy, placing, well adjusted to her new environment and thriving?     We are ecstatically happy puppy parents to two puppies from Bliss Acres. We found Bliss Acres through research on AKC as well as the good site. Not knowing breeders, it was important to us to find someone we could trust. After reviewing several breeders, we believe we found that in Bliss Acres Farms. First we found "Tiny Dior" aka Betty. We couldn't wait for the day to arrive when we would meet her. Right before our pickup Shelley called to say that Betty had a reaction to her shot and she wanted to take her to the vet and observe her for a couple of days. Several vet visits and late night phone calls we heard that Betty was doing well and ready to go! It was during that last phone call that we learned that her brother "Gucci" aka Sammy was making sure that Betty was doing well. I also learned that Sammy's buyers had backed out. It took about 15 minutes for us to decide that it was meant to be that we took Sammy home with Betty! That has turned out to be one of our better decisions in life! Betty and Sammy are absolutely the cutest, smartest, loving, daring and curious little puppies that you could ask for. They bring us and everyone they meet total joy! Someone even asked me if Betty was real (she's just that precious). They are also very good. Early training and inter-actions had to play a role in that, and I credit Shelley and their caretakers for that! We love our little puppies!!
