We love our dogs and our role as breeders, and we strive to make each of our puppies a great contribution to its forever home. We breed with a focus on conformation, personality, and bettering the breed with generation. Our goal is to produce loveable, happy dogs that fit in perfectly with their families!

Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to put our passion for Basset Hounds to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine!What makes your program special?

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Contract & health guarantee
Kristen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Kristin is a compassionate, knowledgeable, intuitive and brilliant breeder. She is a basset expert. She never failed to be responsive, providing information, posting very helpful videos of her pups and answering important questions. Kristin works in the veterinary field. I trust her wholeheartedly. Beyond all of this, her pups are bred and raised in a loving and nurturing environment. They are an absolute JOY. We adopted our Scotty, a beautiful 8 week old red and white male. He was clearly nurtured and loved in the 8 weeks we waited to bring him home. Kristin is our magic! I will definitely adopt from Kristin again when we have room for another basset hound in our lives.

I recently purchased a Basset Hound puppy from Kristen of Blissful Basset Hounds. I never thought I would acquire a puppy from a breeder found on the internet, especially when you hear about all the horror stories regarding the puppy mills, and all the internet puppy scams out there. My mind was changed after watching her facebook videos and then making the decision to reach out and connect with Kristen. She was very knowledgeable and was quick to answer all my concerns and questions , whenever I had one. The whole process was seamless, even being 2 states away. I was fortunate enough to meet her in person, when I picked up my puppy at her home. I can truly say that she loves her puppies and her puppies are home raised with lots of love. If you are looking for an awesome Basset Puppy, look no further, you won’t be dissappointed!
