We love our dogs and our role as breeders, and we strive to make each of our puppies a great contribution to its forever home. We breed with a focus on conformation, personality, and bettering the breed with generation. Our goal is to produce loveable, happy dogs that fit in perfectly with their families!

We wanted to put our passion for Basset Hounds to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine!What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to leave with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be!Where do your breeding dogs live?

I couldn’t ask for a better experience to get my puppy. Kristen is a gem and was extremely cooperative with the transportation across the country. Besides that her puppies are super healthy and show stoppers, we literaly can’t step outside without people stopping us to talk about Berry. Our vet is really impressed with her health too Another amazing thing about Kristen is the puppy come pretty much potty trained, already seems to use pee pads and very very social Really recommend Kristen to anyone who is looking for a Basset Hound

Kristen was absolutely amazing! She is very knowledgeable on how to raise and care for her basset hounds, and answered all of my questions about my sweet baby Maple (Apple) with extensive knowledge and recommendations. For reference, Maple is my fiancé and I’s very first dog that either of us have had as our own. We didn’t know the first thing about raising a puppy! Without Kristen’s help, we would have been beyond lost. We got regular updates from their Facebook page, and it brought us so much reassurance when we saw how much fun our girl was having with her littermates and with Kristen. And when we picked her up, Kristen even showed me how to clip her nails and clean her ears! I would 100% recommend Blissful Bassets as a go-to for bringing a healthy, happy pup home. I recently purchased a Basset Hound puppy from Kristen of Blissful Basset Hounds. I never thought I would acquire a puppy from a breeder found on the internet, especially when you hear about all the horror stories regarding the puppy mills, and all the internet puppy scams out there. My mind was changed after watching her facebook videos and then making the decision to reach out and connect with Kristen. She was very knowledgeable and was quick to answer all my concerns and questions , whenever I had one. The whole process was seamless, even being 2 states away. I was fortunate enough to meet her in person, when I picked up my puppy at her home. I can truly say that she loves her puppies and her puppies are home raised with lots of love. If you are looking for an awesome Basset Puppy, look no further, you won’t be dissappointed!
