Expected Bernese Mountain Dog litter
Due May 2026
I'm Hannah N., the breeder behind Bloomful Berners located in Fort Meade, MD. Passionate about the ethical preservation of the Bernese Mtn Dog, we use the AKC breed standard as our guide, the OFA's complete list of health testing as our compass, and some of the finest quality lines for health, type, temperament, and longevity as the heart behind our up and coming program. We just as carefully select the best families for our precious Bloomful puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hannah has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Hannah partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
"In order to ensure our Bloomful puppies end up with their forever families, we carefully record their traits and temperament for the first 8 weeks of life and then make matches based on the criteria and circumstances given by our hopeful puppy parents. This is a team effort and matches are usually made between 7-8 wks with pick up between 8 -9wks."

"You can't put a price on the love we give these babies, but here is the value you can expect with your Bloomful puppy: AKC registration, genetic health testing completed for each puppy, a general health guarantee, clean bill of health from our vet, first rounds of vaccinations and dewormer, microchip AviDog and Puppy Culture protocols utilized, early crate, potty, and leash training with intro to basic commands, a VERY generously stocked Welcome Bag, lifetime support, and last but not least, a rebate for puppy classes and the first three AKC titles applied for. *A fully refundable deposit of $300 once pregnancy is confirmed reserves your spot in line for a specific breeding. An additional nonrefundable deposit of $300 is then required to move forward once puppies are born and thriving. This is of course deducted from the total due at pick up."
Hannah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Hannah offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Hannah directly.

About Tikka
Tikka, our Polish princess, started her show dog career with a bang when she won Best Puppy in Show twice at the Potomac Valley Bernese Mountain Dog Club's regional specialty. She went on to achieve her AKC Championship at 2yrs of age and is pointed toward her grand. She holds several other titles that are a testament to her steady temperament and trainability: all three Canine Good Citizen titles, Trick Dog Novice, and Farm Dog Certified. She also enjoys training for Rally and Draft and practices by delivering homemade bread to the neighborhood via sled or dog cart. Most of all, she is a Mama's Girl, always by my side, but she'll take snuggles from any family member! Just as the breed standard states, she is aloof with strangers, but LOVES children. I've even had 3 and 4yr olds hold this 90lb girl's leash during walks. We are so exited to start our preservation breeding program with Tikka and to see what our beautiful girl passes on to her babies! CHIC certified, her documented health testing, AKC titles, and pedigree are up to date and can be viewed on Bernergarde with her BG number 215269. •OFA Hips - Excellent •OFA Elbows - Normal •OFA Eyes - Normal •OFA Heart - Normal •OFA Thyroid - Normal •VonWillebrands - Clear •DM SOD1-A - Carrier •DM SOD1-B - Clear •Antagene Histio Sarcoma PreTest - Index A
