I'm Jean T., the breeder behind Blue Tails Farm located in Polo, MO. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We have integrated in our program special testings on the dogs , to ensure the quality in the breed . ALL OWNERS MUST SPAY & NUETER.

    I had a pet sitting hobby then went into breeding

  • What makes your program special?

    Puppies are held since birth My grandchildren handle all puppies We do an early stimulation on the puppies All adults have access to the play yard outside Dogs are raised in a resort style atmosphere We carefully select our breeding stock We strive to give the public a Quality Healthy puppy. We have ongoing lifetime support for each and every customer. We VALUE the customer PLEASE NOTE I have the right to refuse a sale on any of the puppies regardless of any issues . Due to ✈️ flight happenings . I will resume nanny flights upon my discretion. Nanny flights are limited to certain areas due to my time restrictions. Thank you all for your understanding. PLEASE NOTE I ~~CANNOT HOLD ANY PUPPY IT IS BEST IF YOU PUT A DEPOSIT TO RESERVE A PUPPY. Please you must put a deposit on a puppy to hold it for you .

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Chihuahua puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Dachshund puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Chihuahua puppies include blue, blue fawn, gold and white, fawn and white, cream and white, blue merle, blue and white, blue and tan, and black and white. Dachshund puppies include cream, red, fawn (isabella), blue and tan, chocolate and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jean

Jean has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,499 - $4,499 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes: Registration papers (limited) PET ONLY Vaccinations Health Records Food Toy Toy Global security optional CONTRACT AGREEMENT. A non-refundable deposit is to secure that puppy. It will go towards the balance of the puppy. Prefer half of balance due prior to pick up. We also can just pay the balance on GOODDOG upon pick up .”

    Jean is such a nice lady and she knows a lot about Chihuahuas! Anytime I asked for an updated pic she would send me a pic or a video! My new puppy (Maya) is happy, healthy and just a sweetie, you can tell she was well raised and taken good care of while she was in Jean's care.
