Bluebell Goldendoodles

Lorraine M.

Breeder of Goldendoodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Lorraine M., the breeder behind Bluebell Goldendoodles located in Shelbyville, IL. My dogs are first and foremost family companions. I take pride in knowing that they are healthy and have super temperaments that are passed onto their offspring. My aim is to breed pups that will grow into well adjusted, fun, family members. Puppies are born in my home amid all the hustle and bustle of normal family life.

Q. & A. with Lorraine

  • Why did you start breeding?

In the 1970’s I was introduced to the AKC conformation world. I grew up on the farm and loved every animal. After marrying a dog lover, I came to love showing and breeding Standard Poodles. I have found that crossing them with the Golden Retriever you get an extremely smart and beautiful personality. It doesn’t get much better than a Goldendoodle.
  • What makes your program special?

I feel my breeding program is special because I do everything possible to make sure I put a healthy and happy puppy into a family’s arms. Breeding healthy parents together produce a wonderful puppy.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, red, black, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
