I'm Alex C., the breeder behind Bluebonnet Pomskies located in Weir, TX. Find us on FB and IG at Bluebonnet Pomskies. You'll find a ton of videos showing our work. Our breedings are carefully paired to match pedigrees, body types, temperaments, & personalities to ensure only well-bred puppies are produced. We take great pride in what we have created over the years 🫶.
Q. & A. with Alex
Why did you start breeding?
I was introduced to the pomsky via a client seeking obedience training for her puppy. I thought it was the coolest, most versatile breed. As a service dog trainer at the time, I ran into many issues with breeders not being transparent with what I was getting. I decided to start creating my own dogs through my carefully selected parents and temperaments. We start training our pups at 24hrs old.
What makes your program special?
We have a specific Cognitive Development Program that families immediately notice in their puppies behavior and how the dog engages them personally. We know how to hack these adorable little minds before birth thanks to our K9 Behaviorist work before starting our kennel. You don't need to say 'sit' to teach a pup to sit nicely at your feet & that it's an expection if you know what you're doing 😘
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include toy, mini, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include wolf sable, tri-color, silver and white, silver, gray and white, blue, lavender, black, black and white, chocolate, merle, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
