Q. & A. with Teresa M
Why did you start breeding?
My father-in-law is a Vietnam veteran who was in need of a quality service dog and has a deep love for German Shepherds. We began researching what it would take to provide that dog to him and felt breeding a quality GSD was a way to make sure he received what he needed and wanted. In addition, my daughter was in need of a service dog so both received their companions out of our first litter.
What makes your program special?
We usually only have 1 - 2 litters a year because we consider these dogs as our family pets and want to keep them healthy and vibrant. We exercise them and provide all the essentials including lots of love. We genetically test all of our breeding stock and have xrays of their hips and elbows done by a qualified vet who sends them to the OFA for certification. We provide the AKC registration at time of purchase along with microchipping. We have a return policy and a limited warranty.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
