I'm David and Cherie R., the breeder behind Boardwalk Doodles located in Virginia Beach, VA. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.
Q. & A. with David and Cherie
Why did you start breeding?
We first fell in love with Goldendoodles through our very own Ruby. We also see how Goldendoodles can serve and minister to the needs of so many with their sweet temperaments, intelligence, and intuitiveness which meets the emotional needs of others. It's also a bonus that their coats are hypoallergenic and very low shedding. We are honored to add a family member to your home!
What makes your program special?
We raise mini to medium F1B Goldendoodles that are 20-40lb and are raised in our home. The puppies are from health tested and clear parents, and raised around our five children and as a part of our family. We do early neurological stimulation, early socialization, and begin potty training before they go home at 8 weeks. We think Goldendoodles are the best dogs ever and are confident your Boardwalk Doodle pup will be too!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
