I'm Kathy S., the breeder behind Borassus Basenjis located in Linden, NJ. I produce pups that will continue to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. I study the pedigree, structure, and health of every Basenji pair prior to breeding. It would be my pleasure to introduce your family to your next forever companion!
Q. & A. with Kathy
Why did you start breeding?
I regularly participate in lure coursing and conformation shows, and I started breeding to continue and improve upon my prized Basenji line. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.
What makes your program special?
I truly love the Basenji breed and am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and conformation of my puppies. I do everything I can to ensure my puppies have what they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs. In my breeding program, good health and temperament are essential, and cuteness and love are guaranteed.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
