I'm Halle M., the breeder behind Borders of Eby Eden located in Creston, OH. We focus on raising well-socialized Bordoodle puppies that can make great companions for loving families. We love the intelligence of the Bordoodle and how they truly become a member of the family. We would love to work with you to find the perfect Bordoodle for you and your family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We fell in love with our original Border Collie, Archie, nearly thirty years ago when we rescued him from the local humane society. We have been smitten ever since and love the opportunity to share this smart and loyal breed with others. We believe they are fantastic dogs for families and love watching you meet your new family member for the first time!

  • What makes your program special?

    We provide your puppy with love and attention from Day 1. We are a small program with a limited number of litters per year which allows us to devote plenty of time and attention to each stage of the puppy process. Once your puppy is born you will be kept up to date on it's life through Pupdates and tons of pictures and videos! Your puppy leaves Eby Eden with a great start on life!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white and red, white and blue, white and black, red merle, red, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Halle

Halle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Halle partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All puppies are $2750 regardless of size, eye color, coat color, or gender. Each puppy receives the same foundations of exposure and socialization activities they need to be an amazing and well adjusted adult dog! $500 deposit will be applied towards the purchase price of the dog.”

Contract & health guarantee

Halle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Halle offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Halle directly.

  • Full Embark Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), DNA Disease Panel, DNA Coat/Trait Panel, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
