I'm Rebecca B., the breeder behind Bouchard’s Best Shepherds located in Jonesborough, TN. Our dogs are all receive complete vet checks, and a minimum of 1st shots depending on age. We breed for health and temperaments. We raise with family, for families. We also, on occasion, retire our older dogs with families and seniors. We are quality vs quantity.

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding with Dianne Masters in Ma. she was my mentor. When she retired she asked me to take it over for her. My goal has always been to enhance the breed. I produced some of the most beautiful Germans, which can be found all over the US. We breed what we love, creating a large following. We also are BBB accredited since 2008 with an A+ Rating. Buyers can purchase with confidence.What makes your program special?
It’s not about the money for us. It is about the love and devotion we receive from these dogs. Our home, located in Jonesborough TN. after relocating from Western Ma. Has a Grand Pavilion with an indoor with heat and AC. located in Jonesborough, TN all built for the health and happiness of our dogs. We have AKC DNA Health testing and OFA hips and elbows. We genuinely love what we do.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our German Shepherd puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our German Shepherd puppies include bi-color, black and tan, and black and red. Miniature American Shepherd puppies include red & white, red tri-color, black tri, red merle, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Rebecca partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Super easy to housebreak because they are kept clean from day one. Which helps them learn they don't want to potty and live in yuck.”

Litter update on 27 June •…The puppies first meal. We always stay with scrambled eggs easy on the tummy. They lived their scrambled eggs and they are nutritious. They like to Eat!

About Baron
Everybody loves Baron. Baron is sweet, smart, and a really good watch dog. He can be intimidating looking but, he is just a big teddy bear. He is built really well and had all AKC DNA Health testing and OFA hips and Elbows. He got an excellent on his hips! we just love this boy or as we call him "Our Man!" Mr. Super Stud.

Jilly Bean is a great tempermented girl that loves all our other dogs and being in the house. She enjoys car rides and all outside activites such as playing ball etc.. Her diet consists of our own farm raised eggs, chicken, chicken livers, beef, rice, and vegetables along with Diamond Naturals dog food. Her last little was small but great looking red tri, black tri, and blue merles. That was her first little so this one should be much larger if our theries apply.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Absolutely wonderful experience. Great place to visit in Northeast Tennessee. Our puppy has been a real treasure. Thank you to Rebecca and her husband for everything. Their farm is more than just dogs. It is a real working farm. They even sent us home with duck eggs for our new Mini American Shepherd. She is now 18 weeks old and weighs in at 13 lbs and we estimate she will be around 25 lbs as an adult. It is clear that she was raised well and socialized. I will recommend any one who wants a pup to talk to Rebecca. We have had Aussies our whole life. This is our first mini. Her personality and disposition is exactly like a full size Aussie just in a smaller package.
