Q. & A. with Kelsey
Why did you start breeding?
My journey began behind the scenes, helping a close friend find the perfect homes for her litters. As a broker, I fell in love with the process of matching families with their new best friends. I saw the smiles, the excitement, and the deep bond that starts the moment a puppy is placed in a child’s arms. That experience inspired me to step up and start Bougie South Kennels. What makes your program special?
The Bougie South Way: Raised with Love & Science At Bougie South Kennels, "home-raised" isn't just a phrase—it’s our lifestyle. Our puppies are born and raised right in the heart of our home, getting used to the sights, sounds, and snuggles of a busy family from day one. What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs. What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include merle, white, apricot, black and tan, tri-color, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
