I'm Anita S., the breeder behind Bountiful Westies of West Michigan located in North Muskegon, MI. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We began seeking a Westie to add to our family again. As we looked we started entertaining ideas of raising Westies. I met a breeder in our area and she helped us get started. She has been a wonderful support. We also have a great veterinarian a couple miles from us who is a great support and resource.

  • What makes your program special?

    Healthy dogs is our main priority. We were very patient in our search for our dogs. Not only were we looking for great companions, but also we wanted healthy genes. We desire to only breed healthy dogs! Our dogs have been genetically tested and have stellar results.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    Our experience with Anita truly could not have been better. Our family had been doing research on different dog breeds for years, and then, finally, I stumbled upon a new litter of Westie pups on Anita’s profile on Good Dog and immediately fell in love with one of the photos. The timing was perfect to surprise our kids with a Christmas puppy, and Anita made the process so seamless and easy. She was so communicative with us throughout the whole process, sending frequent photos and videos and messages full of good information and useful resources. From minute one, he was crate-trained (!); we were shocked that he slept happily in his crate through the night without a peep. He is so sweet and social. He loves people and other dogs and has never displayed a hint of aggression. We could not recommend Anita more: she is clearly such a capable, loving breeder, and, from a business standpoint, she knows exactly what it takes to create a positive customer experience. When we’re ready for a second dog, we will definitely return!

    Anita and her family are amazing! We had the best experience from start to finish. She let us FaceTime with the puppies before making a decision and communication was great throughout the process. Ozzie is the best dog and you can tell she really cares about all of her dogs!     Dealing with Anita and Bountiful Westies was the best experience! From the initial contact I knew how much she deeply cared for her Westies and their puppies. She kept me informed on my puppy and sent pictures along the way. Her puppies are very healthy, balanced, happy, playful, loving and did I mention the cutest?
