I'm Cynthia B., the breeder behind Bradley's Pugs located in Portland, OR. Sometimes the most ordinary things can be made extraordinary simply by doing them with a Pug. We love this breed so much. Finding the perfect home for these perfect fur-babies brings us so much joy.
Q. & A. with Cynthia
Why did you start breeding?
My retired girl was pregnant when I got her. Raising that litter was exciting, and with my knowledge from Poms, I was able to grow our grumble with precise breeding practices.
What makes your program special?
We litter box train our babies. We trim nails on a weekly basis. We handle our babies a lot so they come for hugs and kisses. We teach them basic commands. We have them evaluated by an expert. We microchip, vaccinate, and litter box train them. We have had our adult dogs DNA tested for inheritable diseases and only will breed those that test clear. We love our dogs and respect them and look for that in their new homes.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Puppies are sold on a Restricted Registration only price. This means that they are to be spayed or neutered before we give the AKC paperwork. When a Buyer has determined which adorable Puppy will be for them, the Puppy is marked Reserved after the Deposit has been made. We do not offer refunds as we have then pulled the Puppy off the market, making it unavailable for anyone else. This covers that cost of loss of potential Buyers should the Buyer not be able to get the Puppy.”

Cynthia may provide a written contract or

Was very pleased with Cynthia while trying to find a pet for myself and my other pet Lenny, a 3 year old pug. Cynthia was very happy to be accommodating and was knowledgeable about her pugs. She made a long trip to Boston to deliver my little Maggie and even showed and demonstrated on how to cut her nails. Maggie has adjusted well, myself and Lenny couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Cynthia, for bringing her into our lives.

Cynthia is a wonderfully responsible breeder who makes every effort to breed and place healthy beautiful pups. She works out of love for her animals and a deep regard for the breed. We're experienced pug owners and knew to avoid backyard breeders or those only interested in making a buck. As we searched, Cynthia's Pugs checked all the boxes. We couldn't be happier with our black male pug, sired by Denny and Peggy. During our pup's first vet visit the vet remarked how impressed he was by the evident care given the pup by his breeder. We strongly recommend you look at one of Bradley's Pugs!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
