We’ve had our curious and loving boy, Copper, from Bravo! for one year now and we have been absolutely thrilled with our dog and with Julie LaRue of Bravo! Vizslas. As a long time Vizsla lover, I spent years learning about reputable breeders around the country who not only understand the personality of a Vizsla but also uphold high standards for health, conformity, and breeding practices. My search led me to trust Julie LaRue and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Bravo! exemplifies dedication and expertise in all things Vizslas. Julie competed in field events with her Vizslas for years (earing national titles and recognition along the way), and that pedigree lives on in her kennel still today. I have plenty to say about Julie, but at the end of the day, just come meet one of her dogs and you’ll see just how great of a breeding program she operates. Her dogs have unparalleled personalities that bring out the very best features of the breed. From the moment I first spoke to Julie she began picking apart my love for Vizslas, my lifestyle, and my personality so that she could determine if I was a fit for her dogs and whether she could match a puppy to fit us. From my experience, it was evident that every aspect of her breeding program is designed to prioritize the temperament and personality of her dogs (health of course a priority too, but hose records online tell you everything you need to know) and the puppy she gave us was a perfect match for us. Because Julie prioritizes early socialization, conditioning, and enrichment activities, Bravo! produces well-rounded individuals with sound temperaments. We wanted a confident dog that could handle any and all situations, strangers, surroundings, and could easily adapt to our busy lives in Dallas. Julie delivered. Copper had plenty of adult Vizslas on Julie’s farm showing him the ropes (and imparting a certain amount of discipline) as a baby which gave him the type of confidence and demeanor which usually takes a year or more. Bravo! pups are introduced to leashes, vehicles, storms, thunder, and other animals which allowed Copper to join our home ready to take on anything with child-like curiosity instead of fear. He was immediately friendly and playful to every person or dog he met and has lots of energy and drive. While we love to joke that he's a little derpy or “just another pretty face,” Copper came back from a three week board and train program with high-marks, highly obedient, and his training has stuck with him for over 6 months now. Though the proof is in the dogs, Julie adds a genuine love and passion her Vizslas. We love staying up with her and she checks in on Copper regularly. Each puppy comes with her health guaranty and her continued support through the Bravo! Vizsla community. It's evident Julie views her dogs not just as breeding stock but as beloved members of her family, the same way Copper is part of ours. I fully recommend Bravo! Vizslas and we look forward to the day when we’re ready for another one of Julie’s excellent dogs.
