I'm Breashae C., the breeder behind Breashae's Pups located in Lexington, KY. I have been breeding since 1979 and just love the breed of Basset Hounds and Schnauzers. All my pups and dogs are given the very best of physical care until they leave for their new forever homes. All pups are born and remain at my home until time for them to leave, All pups dew claws are removed by vet at 3 days of age and are also vet checked twice before leaving, each also comes with Health Record including my Vet information should you wish to contact them. They are well socialized with other dogs and people of all ages. My Daughter has taken over due to my Health.

"The price includes AKC paperwork with Full rights, first round of puppy shots, and second if needed, dew claws removed at 3 days old by my VET, deworming schedule from 2 weeks old, Health records and hands on socializing for appropriate age of pups when leaving. Deposits are taken for the purpose of assuring you that your pup of choice will be held for you until the pickup date and no longer available for consideration from other buyers."

This will be her 3rd and final litter before retiring to be a forever loved full time pet.

Minnie is a Superstar in my breeding program, this is her second litter she is two and a half years old is in remarkable health condition and has demonstrated she is a perfect mom not to mention she is a beautiful image of what AKC expects out of their basset hounds. She is one of the most lovable, attention seeking and giving Bassett that you could ask for. Her personality and loyalty cannot be matched. The perfect mom for your perfect pup.

Clyde is kinda difficult to describe but first and foremost he is 1 loving boy (Still Young) and wanting all your attention all the time, his personality is very outgoing with all ages and he loves to pick at my adult females. He is certainly all Basset in that he doesn't have a care in this world one of the happiest guys 7/24, has never missed a meal in his lifetime, loves to eat. He is a show dog specimen of the Basset Breed, has been DNA tested and has passed all health checks. He is a grandson to my long time stud BJ whom retired in 2024. His long ears, short legs and long body are all within AKC required standards and I hope he is around for a very long time as my chief Sire. When you meet him it will be love at first sight as I have great expectations his offsprings will have the same effect.

BJ is and has been the most loveable Basset Male I have had in years, he would rather get attention than eat. His health is and has been remarkable,e and has had no health issues, loves the outdoors and keeping his pack in order. I would like for my next breeding Sire to be just like him, but as we know each dog has it's own traits and personality. Having him as the sire to your pup should come as a comfort.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Breashae has raised some great dogs. The parents of Yellow Boy who I now call Chief, were well fed and really fit. He’s got some amazing basset hounds who made a pretty beautiful pup. Our family has been looking for a basset hound for months with no luck. We found Breashae and instantly fell in love with “pink boy”. They were very good with updates and responding back quickly. My husband was flying from Maine to get the puppy and they worked with our travel plans and had all the papers ready for when he arrived. We have had Flash for 2 days now, he is a great dog. Very healthy and can tell he was very well taken care of. We got to take home a blanket that he was using while there, a toy and dog food. We will definitely be using Breashae in the future if we decide to get another puppy.
